    The mission of the Black Alumnae of Smith College is to strengthen the interests, welfare, and educational purposes of the college while promoting the interests of Black alumnae within the Smith College community. BASC provides opportunities for alumnae to connect with each other, participate in the recruitment and retention of students, and serves to engage Black alumnae within the Alumnae Association of Smith College and in the college community.
